Meet Jenn

Jennifer is a certified STOTT PILATES® Matwork Instructor and registered E-RYT 200HR, 500HR Rasa Yoga teacher. She was recently selected to be an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine, a global digital magazine focusing on exclusive interviews and articles from wellness industry experts.

For many years, health and fitness have been an important part of her life. As a young adult, she was diagnosed with scoliosis and often experienced major back pain, however with consistent strength training, pilates, and much later yoga, she was able to reduce her back pain significantly.

Inspired by her journey, Jennifer seeks to educate and empower students by giving them the tools to truly take care of themselves: body, mind, and soul, while inspiring them to connect with and deeply love who they are completely. Her classes are inclusive, creative, fun, and educational. Students leave with an understanding of what they are doing, why it is important, and how to apply it to their own body’s needs and desires.

Jennifer is a highly experienced pilates and yoga instructor who holds multiple certifications including specialties in group matwork, Core®, hot yoga, yin yoga, and Meditation. She is registered with the Yoga Alliance and provides continuing education for yoga teachers. When she is not practicing or teaching, she likes to spend time catching up with family and friends, relaxing on the beach, and spending time with her gorgeous rescue cats.

Love notes from the mat…

“Hey Jenn, it’s so apparent that you love what you do and truly care about your students!  That makes a great teacher. You’re enthusiastic, authentic, sensitive and funny!!  We all enjoy your classes. With me it’s all the little things that you’ve corrected - a tweak here - positioning there - that has helped me improve my form. I think students need that one-on-one that you bring to the table despite the size of the class! Thank you!”

— Jan R.

“I truly enjoy your classes Jenn.  I can’t think of any one thing but it’s all the little things that you have corrected.  Reminding me to drop my shoulders, pushing me gently to get the most from a position, giving me the confidence to try new positions, and the list goes on. You give us individual attention which is so important when classes are full like ours usually are.  You are a great teacher and you are very much appreciated.”

“Jen, you have had an *amazing and profound* impact on my health and wellness. And I am eternally grateful.

The most useful and valuable thing you have helped me with is *expanding my awareness*. Awareness of my body in space, awareness of how I am moving, awareness of what messages my body is sending me, and listening and taking proper action on those messages.
